Small Progress Matters

I've decided to adopt a new work model. Since I rarely have time for my personal projects after a full day at work, I've committed to waking up before my shift every morning to make small, steady progress on the game. Today, I only managed an hour's work because I woke up just early enough—but perhaps I'll work a bit more this evening or even get up earlier tomorrow.

To me, it's not about how little I work; it's about how consistently I can stick with it. I know that no matter how long it takes, adding a new feature every day by waking up early will eventually finish the game. Once that's done, I'll move on to my new projects—because doing what I love is what truly matters.

Waking up before work to work on the game doesn’t even feel like a chore anymore. I highly recommend checking out the book Ikigai if you’re interested in finding purpose in your daily routine.
